Franklin Homes encapsulates the passion and values of its founder and chairwoman Alyson Finer to provide quality care without limitations for service users with challenging behaviours whether Autistic, including Asperger's syndrome, Learning Difficulties or other mental health conditions.
We have developed a strong reputation as an expert in supporting and developing service users with learning disabilities, psychosis, bi-polar disorders, and paranoid schizophrenia since 1992.
Our care is non-invasive, empathetic and bespoke. It is delivered by dedicated staff who constantly go the extra mile and who are immensely proud of the warm, family environment that permeates our homes. Our commitment to delivering ongoing and innovative training programme encompasses courses covering dual diagnosis, psychosis, behavioural management, autism and Asperger's syndrome.
Our culture of lifelong learning sees us challenging traditional models of care, promote choice and celebrate progress.
Constantly seeking to eliminate constraints and innovate, our holistic approach will see the introduction of a nutritionist and wide-ranging homeopathic treatments.
At each home a qualified, experienced and dedicated manager having progressed from a carer, is committed to implementing our ethos and providing first-class care. The team, which carries out robust quarterly management training, brings a collective 20 years’ experience with Franklin Homes and wide ranging training and development.
Committed to care that exceeds boundaries, the team, which includes a full-time assistant psychologist in partnership with a consultant psychologist, works tirelessly to offer clients the next best thing to fully independent living. The experienced and highly trained staff support service users with essential life skills such as cooking, cleaning and socialising, as well as arranging meaningful activities at local facilities. Franklin Homes enjoys a close working relationship with local Primary Care Trusts, social services and community health workers and involves all in regular reviews of service.
