Alyson Finer
A champion of providing ‘care without boundaries’, Alyson Finer has amassed over 14 years’ experience of nurturing and developing the mentally-ill and vulnerable.
From a journey that began as the owner of a probation hostel in Leeds, Alyson’s breadth and depth of understanding, empathy and commitment to quality care without limitations, is outstanding.
As chairwoman, Alyson ensures service users always benefit from the latest thinking while remaining true to the values on which the company was founded.
Dr Shripati Upadhyaya
Our Clinical Psychologist, Dr Shripati Upadhyaya is an expert in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and holistic approaches to Learning Disabilities, Autism and Asperger's Syndrome.
Dr Shri, as he is affectionately called, works with service users, supporting assessment and therapeutic care and provides specialist staff training.
A council member of The British Psychological Society, Dr Shri is also Consultant Psychologist at Bradford District Care NHS Trust.
Liz Finan
Interim Managing Director Liz Finan, a highly experienced board member, meets monthly with the management team to monitor activity and scrutinise performance in meeting agreed goals and objectives. Ensuring corporate governance permeates the group, Liz – who completed an MBA in 1998 – constantly seeks to further raise quality standards.
Liz has amassed a powerful track record in significantly boosting customer services, implementing effective performance measurement programmes and delivering change in major financial institutions. Her most recent experience includes three years as managing director of a leading Lloyds of London Broker as well as Operations Director at Sun Bank plc and Legal & General Bank.
Liz’s determination, high energy and strategic input across the group’s processes, standards and future direction complement her expertise as a professional coach, for which she is highly valued by the Franklin Homes Board and the individual Home Managers.
