The Mews
Hi and welcome to The Mews from registered manager Marianne Wardle whose background extends to 13 years experience within the caring profession, working with a variety of needs and abilities at all levels.
Marianne says: "The team at The Mews remains objective, irrespective of displayed behaviours or clients' moods. We are committed to treating everybody as an individual and providing a care package which reflects this."
An independent care facility in Bessingby, Bridlington, The Mews provides a minimum of one-to-one support to five residents all of whom have extremely challenging behavioural difficulties such as Autism and Asperger's syndrome.
The Mews has supported its residents since 1999 in its tranquil village setting. The home has two individual self-contained units with a bathroom, bedroom and kitchen, while three male service users share another unit.
A close-knit group, each of the staff works tirelessly to help service users achieve their personal goals by establishing a structured routine and working to individual care programmes.
